A documentary titled "A Family Affair" follows the Xylouris family members for a period of two years as they travel from their homeland in Anogeia, Crete, to Melbourne and back; the film premiered on January 8 in cinemas across Europe.

The 70-minute film, directed by Angeliki Aristomenopoulou, draws an intimate portrait of a family that upholds and passes on the vibrant musical tradition of Cretan music.

The project was produced by Anemon Productions and Unicorn Films in collaboration with ABC Australia, the Greek Film Centre, OTE TV and national broadcaster NERIT. "A Family Affair" is released under the auspices of the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO).
