Rodolfo Cardenuto, Head of Global Partner Operations at SAP, a leading provider of enterprise software and service, was recently in Greece on a visit.Addressing the media, Cardenuto talked about the SAP University Alliance, a network which provides connections between universities and the market, as well as the Academy Cube, a platform combining e-learning with job hunting.
"Greek software developers have our support and we are aware of the fact that potential in terms of human capital and university guidance is considerable," says Cardenuto.
In 2013, Prime Minister Antonis Samaras met in Athens with Jim Snabe, one of the two CEOs of the German software giant, and discussed plans of bringing SAP Southern Europe headquarters to Greece. "We believe that there is a market offering highly-intelligent specialists, where software could play a significant part," said Snabe.
