Greece’s junior women's water polo team won the gold medal in the European Championship held in Ostia, Italy. The Greek U19 team beat hosts Italy in the final by 6-7 and were crowned European champions.

The team, coached by by Giorgos Morfesis and Stefanos Leandros, had won the U17 European Championship held in Istanbul in 2013 and have thus retained their crown. Eleftheria Plevritou was voted MVP of the tournament, while the title of best goalkeeper went to Chrissi Diamantopoulou.
