Greece will be partner country for the World Travel Market (WTM) Latin America that will be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on April 23-25; a partnership designed to further increase ties between Greece, Brazil and Latin America. Greece, as one of the pillars of Western culture, combines rich cultural history and monuments with beautiful beaches and astonishing landscape; it has attracted growing numbers of Brazilians in recent years.

With trip options that range from cruises around its island paradises, like Mykonos and Santorini, visits to monument like the Acropolis of Athens or Lindos in Rhodes, Greece has a range of activities to offer to visitors.

Greece as a tourist destination is growing in popularity in Brazil and Latin America. Between 2008 and 2013 arrivals from Brazil grew by 36% and the country currently provides just under 40,000 visitors to Greece per year. Visitors from Argentina hit 22,000 in 2013.
