Procter & Gamble inaugurated on January 24, a new Research and Innovation Centre in Athens -the third in Europe, following the ones in the UK and Germany- an investment reaching € 3 million.

The new centre will not develop new products, but through the use of innovative technologies, will focus on monitoring and studying consumer behaviour and trends.

As such, it is expected to play a key role in shaping P & G’s strategy not only in Greece but also in the wider region of South-eastern Europe.

Representing the Prime Minister at the event, Foreign Minister Dimitris Avramopoulos noted that the presence of this very important company in Greece is an act of confidence in the Greek economy.
