National Bank of Greece (NBG) has been named best bank in Greece in the Trade Finance category for 2013 by Global Finance magazine.
The magazine’s editors -using input provided by industry analysts, corporate executives and technology experts- selected the best trade finance banks in 83 countries and regions.
The evaluation criteria for the award focused on the scope and comprehensiveness of the bank’s services towards its customers, as well as its active participation in global and regional developments.
The award comes as recognition for the bank’s strategy of focusing on Trade Finance and particularly exports, significantly supporting the recovery of the Greek economy, NBG notes in a press release.
