International NGO Médecins du Monde (MdM) is holding its annual international conference in Athens on May 24-27, with the participation of MdM network delegations from 14 countries.The MdM conference is taking place in Greece for the first time in a show of solidarity to the Greek people and will address issues regarding the right to health in a  time of crisis.

During the conference the MdM Europe Observatory will present their report on the effects of the crisis on Greece’s health system, while the heads of the French, Spanish and Greek delegations will hold a press conference on the impact of the crisis in healthcare services in Greece and Spain. All events will take place at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
