According to JATO Dynamics, the world’s leading provider of automotive intelligence, Greece’s average CO2 emissions for new cars dropped to 132.5 g/km in 2011 compared to 142.5  g/km in 2010.

This constitutes a reduction of nearly 10 g/km in CO2 emissions, the most substantial one in the EU area, which clearly demonstrates that efforts to improve significantly the efficiency of petrol engines are yielding tangible results.
As Gareth Hession JATO Vice President, highlights, "it will be interesting to see how the continued efforts to meet the European Union’s manufacturer targets for 2015 will impact on overall country emission levels."
