The first zero-carbon footprint village in Greece is to be built in the foot of Kissavos Mountain in Thessaly.
The initiative was taken by a group of eco-living enthusiasts from Larissa, who are already on their way to getting building permission.

The method to be used for construction is the cob method that ensures energy autonomy, zero refuse and positive water balance. The village is expected to accommodate 150 people within 12 years.
