  •  In Drama: Film Your Mind
The cinema community reconvenes in Drama for its annual Short Film Festival from today to September 25, with a full screening programme.

The core of the festival consists of three competition programmes: 34 films in the Greek section, 57 in the international one, and 48 productions for the Digi2010. Tributes include Belgian and Swiss Short film screenings sessions, organized by the Festival and the respective embassies in Greece, a "Francophonie" Day and the best of the Budapest Short Film Festival.

A line-up of arts, music and literary events will run in tandem, including a photography competition on Drama’s past and present.
  • I See Green … Design Festival
Two years after its first successful edition, the Green Design Festival returns to the squares of Athens.

From September 23 to October 20, 150 designers from all related fields, along with architects, curators and volunteers will attempt to "re-design" daily city life in an environmentally-minded way, through installations, exhibitions, educational activities, screenings, and interactive events.

Syntagma Square’s Ecomuseum, an environmentally-friendly, recyclable structure will be the hub of activities, with seven other spots in the historic centre hosting architectural and design installations. Programme themes include Architecture and Climate Change, Mediterranean Garden and DIY Fashion Stories. The Festival is held under the auspices of the City of Athens and the Hellenic Ministry of the Environment, Energy and Climate Change.
