The Department of Spatial Planning and Development of the Aristoteleion University of Thessaloniki is organizing a three-day European Conference on Borderland Studies titled The Multifaceted Economic and Political Geographies of Internal and External EU Borders.

The conference will take place in the city of Veria, starting on September 23. Participants will direct issues of regionalisation and globalization, plus a wide array of border-related themes.
