The legendary Atlantis Bookstore on the island of Santorini will celebrate its 2015 Caldera Arts & Literature Festival from September 11 to 13, featuring writers David Sedaris, Billy Collins, Soti Triantafyllou, Amanda Michalopoulou, and Auguste Corteau, performances by Julian Gargiulo, the Ross Daly Quartet and more.
Perched on a whitewashed cliff with a breathtaking view to the island’s caldera, Atlantis is an independent bookstore founded in 2004 by a group of friends from Cyprus, England and the United States. Voted as one of the best bookshops in the world in 2011, Lonely Planet describes it as "a true heaven for English-speaking bookworms, offering a wide variety of literature, poetry and philosophy". All events at the Caldera Festival are free but priority will be given to Pass holders.
