The 10th Annual Greek Roadshow (AGR), organised by the Athens Exchange took place at Bloomberg's headquarters in London, on September 10 and 11. Twenty-eight Greek companies listed on the Athens Stock Exchange took part in this year’s event, which attracted 150 fund managers. Caretaker finance minister George Chouliarakis, the key note speaker this year, ruled out the possibility of a bail-in on Greek deposits and saw some growth for the Greek economy in 2016.
The Roadshow is a two-day annual event aiming to keep international investors up-to-date with Greek market developments. "There are always investment opportunities even in difficult times," the president of the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE) Socrates Lazaridis said in statements to Bloomberg, noting that international investors are not worried about the risk of Greece's exit from the euro. The event included 600 one-on-one as well as small group meetings, depending on investor demand.
