Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, in joint statements with the President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker in Brussels on March 13, said that he was in Brussels to find the best way for the implementation of the Eurogroup decision of February 20. "We have the political will to find a solution to our issue soon," Tsipras said, stressing that when there is political will everything is possible. Juncker told reporters he totally excludes a failure.

Tsipras also met with the President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz in Brussels. "We discussed the agenda on growth so as to examine the unacceptable situation of high youth unemployment and take initiatives to address the humanitarian crisis," he said, noting that Greece has already begun implementing its obligations under the Eurogroup agreement of February 20; "we expect our partners to do the same" he added.

On his part, Schulz said that there is up to €6 billion of EU money to use to fight youth unemployment.
