The Greek government hopes to reach agreement with the institutions a lot sooner than April 20, Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis said in Brussels yesterday, calling the Eurogroup meeting "an important step towards the successful implementation of the February 20 Eurogroup decision." He added that details would be fleshed out for the reform programme to be put into action in the course of the four –months "bridge" period.
Eurogroup President Jeroen Dijsselbloem said at a press conference that negotiations between Greece and its loan partners will begin in Brussels on Wednesday (11.03), adding that time is running out. He said that if there is agreement on reforms and their implementation begins, there will be a partial release of the loan tranche.
