Two Greek athletes excelled in the European Athletics Indoor Championships 2015, held in Prague, Czech Republic: Antonios Mastoras won a silver medal in men’s High Jump final and Ekaterini Stefanidi won the silver medal in the women’s Pole Vault final.
Mastoras achieved the same score as Italy’s Silvano Kezani, while Russian Ntanigil Tsiplakof won the gold medal. Twenty-five-year old champion Stefanidi achieved 4m75 with her second attempt and stayed behind Russian athlete Anzel Sintorova.
During the international rhythmic gymnastics tournament Aphrodite Cup 2015 held in Athens, Eleni Kelaiditi won two gold medals in rope and clubs.
