The 17th Thessaloniki Documentary Festival - Images of the 21st Century will take place on March 13 to 22, featuring some 185 short and feature films from around the world, along with a rich programme of events.

This year’s programme will screen 5 world, 9 international, 3 European and 125 Greek premieres, including the documentary Ikaria by Arnaud Gaillard, I Am a Visitor in Your World by Miguel Silveira and the Empire of Scents by Kim Nguyen.

The screenings will begin with Hip Hop-eration by Bryn Evans, a film which celebrates the joy of life, following the adventures of a group of nonagenarians who, with wheelchairs polished and walking sticks honed, travel from New Zealand to the US to take part in the Las Vegas Hip Hop Dance Championship.
