The results for the European Investment Bank’s first Social Innovation Tournament were announced on November 29, with both Greek finalists getting top spots.

Greece was represented by two (out of a total of sixteen proposals): Symbiosis, a technology-based project aiming to help Alzheimer patients and doctors, and Politeia: Democracy Re-Born, an ambitious proposal for the collective participation in information and resource management.

Symbiosis won second place for the jury prize. But most impressively, both Greek entries won top spots for the audience award, with Symbiosis getting first place and Politeia second.
