Odyssey @ National Theatre

Renowned avant-garde stage director and theatre artist Robert Wilson, famous for his unconventional staging and memorable collaborations, stages Homer’s epic poem Odyssey at the National Theatre. Wilson’s reading of the great epos of the Hellenic literature provides the artistic event of the year that should not be missed.

  • Chicago Musical @ Pallas
The ultimate Hollywood musical Chicago is being staged at the Pallas Theatre, starring many acclaimed Greek actors.


The story takes place in the prohibition era and combines love, murder and money, satirising the corrupt legal and media system of the time, a subject equally pertinent today.

  • Athens Int' Comics Festival
The 14th Athens International Comics Festival, titled Endurance Limit takes place from November 2 to 11 at the Diplarios School. Participating cartoonists explore the endurance not only of materials, but of people as well.


Apart from the exhibition, the programme includes concerts, plays, book presentations and workshops. Among the international guests are "V for Vendetta," David Lloyd and the Italian popular magazine "Diabolic."

M U S I C
  • Music from the Orient @ Athens Music Hall
Traditional music group "Roda" plays music collected by George Gurdjieff and his student Thomas de Hartmann, at the Athens Concert Hall, on November 3. On his travels in the Orient, Gurdjieff collected folk songs from communities in Asia, chants of the Dervishes and Sayyid, hymns and prayers from remote and isolated churches, music to accompany his own Sacred Dances.
