Deputy Foreign Minister Dimitris Kourkoulas participated in a meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Visegrad Group (V4) - the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia - with their counterparts from the Western Balkans (Croatia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, Kosovo, and FYROM), Bulgaria, Romania and Greece.

The meeting was held in Warsaw, on October 25, at the initiative of the Polish V4 Presidency. Greece’s participation, took place within the framework of the reactivation of Greek foreign policy in the region. Kourkoulas briefed his colleagues on Greece’s Agenda 2014 initiative, through which the Greek EU Presidency in the first half of 2014 will promote the European perspective of the countries of the Western Balkans.
