At a time when Greek-German relationships seem to be going adrift and stereotypes rule, sixteen young journalists decided to put an end to parallel monologues and work together towards dialogue.

The Greek-German journalist seminar, titled Friends falling apart? The Greek – German Relations in Times of Crisis, was organized by the Konrad Adenauer Institute.

The institute, which recently opened its Athens branch, brought together eight Greek and eight German young journalists, who worked together in pairs for one week. The teams defined their topics together, researched and produced their (multimedia) reports on such issues as the financial crisis, unemployment and young Greek entrepreneurs.

Their project Dialoggers- a Greek-German website including all their work and promoting similar initiatives - went online on October 29.
