The 13th International Convention of Sustainable Tourism, YPERIA 2015, will take place on Amorgos Island, Greece, October 21 - 26 October, under the auspices of the Greek National Tourism Organisation (GNTO), the Shipping Ministry, the Hellenic Association of Travel and Tourist Agencies (HATTA) and the municipality of Amorgos.

Discussion will focus on "Amorgos: Trails From The Past To The Future - Socio-economic, cultural and environmental prospects". 
During the Convention, participants will discover the island walking along ancient hiking paths, visit historical monuments, pick aromatic mountain herbs, visit an olive-oil distillery, enjoy local products, attend traditional festivities and become acquainted with the work of local artists through various exhibitions (ceramic, photographic, handicraft). The Monastery of Virgin Mary Hozoviotissa of Amorgos, a project in process for inclusion in UNESCO’s World Heritage List, will also be discussed. 

Moreover, the 6th International Short Tourism Film Festival of Amorgos will take place in the course of YPERIA 2015, aiming to set up an international platform with a view to encouraging global and sustainable tourism through audio-visual media. 

As in previous years, the best films, documentaries and activities that contribute to the development of domestic and foreign tourism and the implementation of green practices, will be nominated for an award.
