Innovation
The 2nd International Conference on Applied Innovation, organized by The "Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit", and the "Innovation Office" of EPIRUS T.E.I., will be held 16-17 October on campus in Arta.
Themed "Technological, economic and social perspectives of innovative entrepreneurship in Greece within the international environment", it aims to link production and academic research through innovation, and is addressed to both academics and business researchers. Once again, in order to facilitate broader and equal participation, papers may be presented electronically without authors’ physical presence.
Conference topics cover areas including: Informatics, Economics (mainly finance and accounting); Administrative Sciences (focusing in tourism business and applied foreign languages in management & commerce); Agricultural Bio-Sciences (crop science, animal production, aquaculture & fisheries, and floriculture & landscape architecture); Renewable Energy, Health Sciences (nursing, speech & language therapy, and early childhood care); and Music (especially folk and traditional music).

The International Conference on Energy, Environment and Material Science, organized by the Institute for Natural Sciences and Engineering (INASE) will take place 17-19 October, at the Dessole Resorts & Hotels, in Agios Nikolaos, Crete.The conference will cover areas including Environment and sustainable development, Sustainable management, Indoor Air Quality in Offices and Houses, Quality of water, Global change, climate and biodiversity, Sustainable marine ecosystems, Climate and global change, Advanced Marine research, Research on Natural hazards, Cleaner energy systems, Renewable energy Systems, Combined Heat and Power Systems, Combustion and gasification, and Energy Storage.
