The American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce is hosting an International Law Conference to be held on June 16 & 17 in Athens, at the Onassis Cultural Centre, under the auspices of the President of the Hellenic Republic. The event will focus on the rule of economics, rule of law and best practices.

Topics to be discussed are the Greek government reform efforts and "what’s ahead" in the national legal system, matters of international observation, the role of lawyers and judges, comparison between the US and the EU regarding court organisation and structure, the legal aspect of business formation (i.e. regulation of start-ups), international best practice in rule of law and, finally, the legal aspect of cross-border investment risks and challenges.

The conference aims to bring together top jurists, government officials, business leaders and legal practitioners in Greece, the US, the EU and worldwide to address the above issues.
