Stavlos, the historic bar of the 90’s in the Thissio district in Athens has been overhauled and transformed, since January, into an amazing multiplex, the Root Artspace. The place offers not only good coffee and food but also intellectual and aesthetic indulgence: art, music, design and film.

In its 1000 square metres, the building hosts concerts, festivals, shows and seminars, as well as a creative Mediterranean cuisine restaurant, which follows the Paleolithic diet, the so-called paleo diet!

The Root Artspace further offers 500 jazz and blues vinyl records for sale and a basement cellar with 50 selected wines from the Greek and international vineyards. This unique place was initially built in 1845 to house the stables of King Otto, and so it is one of the oldest, most historical and exceptionally beautiful buildings in Athens.
