Promakhos, a film inspired by the battle for the return of the Parthenon Marbles to Greece, will premiere in Athens on November 25. The film is a Greek, French, and British co-production directed by the new Greek-American directors Coerte and John Vourhees and features an all-star cast, including Giancarlo Giannini, Yorgo Voyagis, Georges Corraface, and many more.

It focuses on the effort of two Athenian attorneys to pursue litigation for the return of the Parthenon Marbles and borrows its name from the Athena Promachos, a colossal bronze statue of Athena sculpted by Pheidias, which stood between the Propylaea and the Parthenon on the Acropolis of Athens.
