Greek businesses boost research and development according to R&D Statistics for 2013 released by the National Documentation Centre. 

Specifically, data indicates that the financial contribution of Greek businesses in the R&D sector has increased by 10.3% in 2013, and that overall R&D expenditure has increases by 6.7%, amounting to 1426.7 million Euros, with the state (state budget and NSRF) remaining the main contributor.
