The annual Global Entrepreneurship Week, a leading event for innovators and job creators will be held from November 17 to 23. The initiative was launched in 2008 and has since grown to 125 countries, with 24,000 partner organizations planning some 34,000 activities that engage millions of participants every year. The overall number of people involved exceeds 7 million.

On November 15 and 16, Greece will host its regional Start Up event in Athens called Disrupt, Startup, ScaleUP. It is organised by the Industry Disruptors-Game Changers (ID-GC), a non-profit/non-governmental organisation that was founded to promote entrepreneurship in Greece, South East Europe and East Med regions. ID-GC’s strategy is focused on industry sectors that offer a competitive advantage, through the exploitation of the unique characteristics and the entrepreneurial potential in the region.
