The 7th annual Animasyros Festival and Forum - dedicated to the art of animation - is taking place in Hermoupolis, on the island of Syros, on October 2 - 5 with more than 100 films.
This year’s edition will present adorable, underground-dwelling monsters of stop-motion animation "The Boxtrolls" and will feature the tribute "Woman in Anima" with visually stunning masterpieces such as "Rocks in My Pockets" by Signe Baumane and Sita Sings the Blues by Nina Paley.

Furthermore, the Festival will host a series of parallel events for the audience, including multiple educational workshops, concerts, parties, round tables about animation, even city tours of Hermoupolis and various events dedicated to the island’s the rich traditions.
