Under the LIFE + programme, the European Union Commission decided (30.04) to allocate € 282.6 million for 225 new environment and climate programmes in the 28 member states. Five Greek environmental projects will be provided with €7.1 million.

More specifically: two programmes will be financed with € 4.1 million under the LIFE + Environment Policy and Governance project; one will be financed with € 1.2 million under the LIFE + Nature project; and another two will be granted €1.8 million under the LIFE + Information and Communication project.
