The animation short "1.2 million children" by Effie Pappa has won a silver medal in the animation category at the 4th Hong Kong International Mobile Film Awards.

The movie deals with human trafficking by telling a story about a child deceived and trapped in an attempt to find a better life. According to UNICEF, 1.2 million children are bought and sold across international borders each year. The majority of these victims are forced into commercial sex trade.
