The Greek EU Presidency and the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs are holding a conference titled "Addressing skills mismatches through work-based learning in Vocational Education and Training (VET)," to be hosted on 26 March 2014, at Zappeion Megaron in Athens.

The participating member-states will be given the opportunity to get acquainted with successful VET policies and practices which tackle skills mismatches. The conference focus will be on how work-based learning in VET can meet contemporary challenges.

In addition, it will address two other issues: the types of partnerships needed to deliver effective work-based learning, and the role of VET teachers and trainers. A discussion will allow an exchange of experience on dealing with these issues.
