The online voting procedure for the selection of a Greek label to be used on products and services produced in the country started on Friday, March 14. Development and Competitiveness Minister Costis Hatzidakis and Deputy Development Minister Athanassios Skordas had presented the three alternative proposals for a Greek label: a ship, a heart, and an ancient column, the day before. The vote will go on for 15 days. Voting results will be announced in the press and online.

The Greek products and services label aims at promoting local products and the competitiveness of Greek enterprises. It also aims to build consumer confidence in Greek products and protect the interests of producers against fake products and unfair competition.
