Europe’s most talked-about production The Merchant´s Contracts - An Economic Comedy, by Elfriede Jelinek, comes to the Onassis Cultural Centre, March 27- 29. The work by the Austrian Nobel laureate Elfriede Jelinek savages the Crisis and capitalism. Adapted to fit Greece’s current situation, it is staged by the talented German director, Nicolas Stemann, as anarchic music theatre, with the requisite manic wisdom.

"From Rebetiko to Jazz" will be staged tonight (27.03) at the Athens Concert Hall. Yiorgos Psihoyios and his Trio assemble a rare medley of familiar and much-loved melodies by the great masters of rembetiko song (Tsitsanis, Vamvakaris, Papaioannou, Kaldaras etc), in a unique demonstration of the relationship between rembetiko and jazz. The concert is part of The Bridges series is directed by Dimitris Maragopulos.

For the seventh year, the international dance contest Salonika Open is preparing to host the best athletes - dancers from Greece and abroad on March 29 - 30. The biggest dancing competition in the Balkans is expected to break every record with more than 2500 athletes competing during the weekend, in Latin and standard categories as well as hip hop, break-dance, oriental, modern dance and more.
