Greece and Saudi Arabia have signed a memorandum of understanding - a major tourism development agreement - during Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni’s visit to Riyadh.

The minister presented the action plan for the development of the tourism industry in Greece and the major reforms made in the tourism sector and the Greek economy to Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Saudi Arabian minister of tourism.

They also discussed the reinforcement of bilateral relations in the tourism sector and cooperation in providing know-how, training and events for the promotion Greek and Saudi culture. In this context, they agreed to jointly host a cultural exhibition in Athens and Riyadh.

On his part, Prince Sultan bin Salman presented Saudi Arabia’s achievements in the cultural sector, focusing on modern infrastructure available today his country.
