The Ministry of Development and Competitiveness has announced the list of 80 projects that will be funded by the “ 2013 Development of Industrial Research and Technology (PAVET)", which aims to encourage and develop industrial research and experimental development. 582 proposals were submitted during the selection process, and the total approved public expenditure for funding amounts to €19.5 million euros. It is noted that due to the high standards of all the submitted proposals, the Ministry will try to secure additional funding for more projects.
The PAVET programme is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and national resources under the Programme for Competitiveness and Entrepreneurship (OP II) and the National Strategic Reference Framework (NSRF) 2007-2013.
