The Greek Central Archaeological Council has announced its decision (22.01) to temporarily lend three El Greco paintings to Toledo's Santa Cruz Museum in Spain for an exhibition dedicated to the famous painter.

El Greco's Adoration of Magi and St Luke Painting the Virgin from the Benaki Museum's Byzantine collection and the Coronation of the Virgin from the Onassis Foundation will travel to Toledo for The Greek of Toledo exhibition marking 400 years after Domenikos Theotokopoulos' death, also known as El Greco, that will run from March 14 until June 14 and will bring together El Greco's work from museums and galleries throughout the world.
