The authentic monastic cuisine of Mount Athos Greece, traveled to Paris, presenting French people with the austere, wholesome yet tasty diet of the Holy Mountain monks, based on the use of organic products from the mainland and the sea.

Hosted in a central restaurant in Paris, Greek chef Dina Nikolaou prepared a 5-course dinner for the promotion of Mount Athos Area Kouzina culinary institution. The dinner was attended by 20 French journalists and the famous gastronomy consultant Sébastien Ripari.

The dinner was such a great success that a second one was organised at the same restaurant. During the second dinner, Dina Nikolaou presented the guests with the tourist potential of the region and its unique history and characteristics which influenced the local cuisine and made it so special. The event was part of the project run by the Organization for the Tourism Development of the region around Mt. Athos to promote the area in the French market.
