The FarmsUp project by Militos Emerging Technologies & Services was among the winners of the CAP Communication Awards 2013 of the European Commission. The competition involved any ongoing or completed project, which evidently communicated themes related to the Common Agricultural Policy.

The Greek project, which won 3rd prize for Innovative Communication and the special prize of the public, focused on fostering the emerging agro-entrepreneurial culture through dynamic training solutions and showcased over 22 projects that support and enable farmers to become entrepreneurs.

What the award jury had to say about the project: "An excellent project which presents the farmer as an entrepreneur, not just a food producer. It shows the true breadth of farmers’ day-to-day responsibilities. This is an innovative concept which will inspire future farmers."
