A symposium celebrating 100 years since Willy Brandt’s birth will take place at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation on December 11. 

The event is titled "Wagt weiter! – Risk more!" and is organised by the Friedrich-Ebert Foundation in cooperation publishing house Historical Quest. It will focus on the life and works of Germany’s first Socio-Democratic chancellor since 1930, awarded the Nobel Peace Prize (1971) for his contribution in the reconciliation between West Germany and the countries of the Soviet bloc.
