Greek art Jewellery goes to Germany: "Mythen/Myths" exhibition will take place in Berlin, December 11-19, 2013 & Hamburg, February 6-9, 2014. The theme: Greek myths. Ten Greek Jewellers were invited to respond to Greek myths in jewellery form.

“Eleven jewellery designers update Greek mythology.” Based in Greece, Hamburg and London, these designers are influenced by Greek mythology and use a broad spectrum of material (gold, wood, enamel, leather, fibers, plastic etc.) to comment on love and treason, death and resurrection, constant change, immortality of love, the will to oppose conventions.

Participating Greek artists are: Katerina Glyka, Haris Kaminari, Voula Karampatzaki, Christina Karakalpaki, Apostolos Kleitsiotis, Vally Kontidis, Liana Pattihis, Otsis, Systemalab, Thomas Thomidis, and Loukia Richards.The exhibition Mythen/Myths, curated by Loukia Richards and produced by ZLR Betriebsimperium, is under the auspices of the General Consulate of Greece in Hamburg.
