Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni concluded yesterday an official trip to Argentina to promote Greece in the Latin America market.During her visit, Kefalogianni met with Argentine Deputy Foreign Minister Eduardo Zuain and discussed prospects of tourist cooperation between the two countries, namely the visa issue and the possibility of a direct air link between Athens and Buenos Aires.
Kefalogianni has also signed a joint declaration on tourism cooperation with her Argentine counterpart, Carlos Enrique Meyer, including: measures to boost tourist exchanges between Greece and Argentina, familiarization trips for tour operators and journalists, promotion and facilitation of investment in the tourism sector by Greek and Argentine businessmen, direct contact and communication between the Greek National Tourism Organization and the Argentina National Institute of Tourism Promotion and cooperation in special types of tourism such as agritourism, cultural tourism and ecotourism.
