The 2013 TEDxAthens will be held at the Onassis Cultural Centre on November 29-30. The event, under the title "Uncharted Waters," aims at revealing opportunity behind the unknown.

"This year we have chosen a subject that appeals to everyone," curator Dimitris Kalavros noted: "We have all heard awesome stories, we all want to learn from the experiences of our speakers and try to explore what it is that makes some people fulfill their dreams and what is it that makes the rest of us stop short." Founded in California, TEDx (technology, entertainment, design) "showcases ideas that matter in any discipline." It follows a fast-paced format with back-to-back lectures throughout the day and gives communities, organisations and individuals the opportunity to stimulate dialogue through local activities.
