Thumbs up for Greece! The Greek national soccer team qualified yesterday for the 2014 World Cup Finals to be held in Brazil in the summer. Holding a 3-1 advantage from the opening leg with Romania, the Greek team finished off the job with a 1-1 draw in the rematch. This is the 5th major tournament Greece has qualified to over the last 10 years, following Euro 2004, Euro 2008, the 2010 World Cup and Euro 2012. The final World Cup draw for the 32 qualifying teams will take place on December 6th on the Bahia coastline, 76km from Salvador. Until then, let’s keep our fingers crossed!
