Greeks seem to have achieved the best combination: longevity in good health, according to a report issued by Eurostat on March 5, concerning the number of years one can expect to live well, if born in 2011.
Specifically, among the 27 Member States, Greek men and women born in 2011 are expected to live 66,4 and 66,9 years respectively, without any health problems, thus ranking 3rd in the EU, after Malta and Sweden. Our guess is that the Mediterranean Diet does bring tangible results!
