Greece participates in the ITB Berlin 2013 -the leading international travel trade show that takes place in Berlin from March 6 to 10- launching its new tourism campaign under the slogan "Greece, All Time Classic". The exhibition was opened by the German Chancellor Ankela Merkel, who visited the Greek pavillion accompanied by the German Deputy Labour Minister and Special Envoy for Greek-German cooperation Hans-Joachim Fuchtel.
Greeted by the Greek National Tourism Organisation (GNTO) Secretary General Panos Livadas, the German Chancellor wished Greece the best of luck for the upcoming tourism season.

On his part, Fuchtel said that Greek tourism has a very good headstart. Today, Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni will address the World Tourism Leaders Summit: Green for Life, Green for Tourism, while, on March 8, there will be a discussion panel focusing on Greece under the title Sympathy or Scepticism? The Importance of Tourism in Greece. The Berlin exhibition will close with a Delphic Festival, inspired by the Delphic Games of ancient times.
