Matthew Nimetz, the UN Secretary General's personal envoy for talks between Greece and Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) on the FYROM name issue, has invited the two countries’ chief negotiators, Ambassador Adamantios Vassilakis of Greece and Ambassador Zoran Jolevski of FYROM, to the UN headquarters in New York, on January 29-30.

Both sides have accepted the invitation to start a new round of discussions. According to an announcement, Nimetz will hold separate discussions with the two representatives and a joint meeting, in a follow-up to the discussions held with senior government officials during his visits to Athens and Skopje on January 9-11.
