A Swedish film for the whole family, titled Sune i Grekland ("Sune in Greece"), will be shot entirely on the island of Rhodes. The movie will be screened throughout Scandinavia and the rest of the world.

The story is based on one of the series of books by Anders Jacobsson and Sören Olsson - featuring the most popular hero of Skandinavian culture, a boy named Sune. The books have been published since 1984. The story follows Sune Andersson, who travels with his family to Greece.

After the great success this series of books has experienced -over 3,000,000 copies in Scandinavia- it was followed by the television series, which is also very popular. The film is scheduled to start shooting on May 21 and will be completed by late June.
