A bicycle race aiming to promote the protection of Athens’ monuments will take place on May 30. Starting from the Parliament Building, the race will take participating cyclists around the centre of Athens following the old tram lines and will include a guided tour to some of the city’s landmark buildings, ranging from Ziller’s neo-classical trilogy to historic outdoor movie theatre Thission. The event is organized by Monumenta magazine and NGOs Atenistas and Friends of the Railways.
