The General Director of the Foreign Affairs Ministry, Panayiotis Zografos summoned yesterday the Syrian Ambassador Huda al-Homsi to express Greece’s "abhorrence and the strict condemnation" for the recent massacre of civilians, including dozens of children, in the village of El-Houleh in Syria. Zografos stressed that "Greece strongly condemns the killings and called on the Syrian regime to immediately stop the use of violence," adding that Syria must comply with the relevant resolutions and the statement issued by the UN Security Council on May 27.
